This Mid-Size Jeep Truck Still has a Manual Transmission – MotorBiscuit

For some mid-size truck buyers, a manual transmission is still preferred over an automatic. And while more and more vehicles are starting to ditch hand-made shifts, the 2022 Jeep Gladiator has not. With this mid-size truck, owners can benefit from a six-speed manual transmission. And that means you can have more control over your drive, whether you are on your daily commute or doing a weekend of adventuring.

The most costly Jeep Gladiator, the High Altitude has a base price of over $50,000. And that price is before you choose to add any options. This MSRP is reflective of the fact that trucks are no longer simple tools, but can come with legitimate luxury features.

Should you buy a Gladiator with a manual transmission?

In most cases, if you have a passion for driving, opting for the manual transmission is an ideal option. But, standard transmissions can become frustrating in things like stop-and-go traffic, so it is up to you if you want to deal with that.

Cost-wise, the manual transmission is cheaper to get than optioning on the automatic. So, that is another perk we would consider when choosing which powertrain you should purchase your 2022 Gladiator with.
